Inhaled statins show promise in treating asthma

Futurity covers research at The University of California into the use of inhalable statins to treat asthma by improving the health and condition of the airways. Futurity quotes assistant professor Amir Zeki:

“This study gives us hope that when inhaled directly into the airways, statins can be delivered safely and at doses that appear to protect the cellular health of the lungs.”
