Innovation in Battery Recycling Using Pine Cones and Alfalfa

FastCoExist reports on developments in greener batteries for cars and consumer electronics and other power hungry devices that use rechargeable batteries. Researchers in Norway may have developed a way to use bio-ingredients to reduce the financial and environmental costs of recycling and re-manufacturing rechargeable batteries, by adding extracts from Alfalfa and pine cones into the process; not only would this reduce waste, it would also reduce the need for costly and dirty mineral extraction/mining.
