Wearable sensors to track disease, air quality

Futurity reports on wearable sensors being developed to monitor health conditions, air quality and hazardous chemicals.

Conditions such as diabetes and hypertension can be monitored by registering biomarkers exhaled or released through the skin. In additon, the sensors could identify hazardous substances or help monitor air quality.

Through the use of graphene, the devices are faster and smaller that existing sensors.
